One Does Not Simply Walk into Mordor……but perhaps you can dance!
Join us for an evening of Medieval and English folk dances inspired by The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, and all things Middle-earth. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or new to historical dance, come celebrate the spirit of adventure, friendship, and joyful movement that fills the Shire and beyond.
This event invites you to experience the charm and camaraderie of the Shire through lively, easy-to-learn dances that will transport you to a time of hobbits, elves, and epic quests. Feel the rhythm of the Old World as you dance with friends new and old, sharing laughter and fun in a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere.
Middle-earth attire is warmly encouraged to add to the festive mood— whether you come as a brave ranger, a merry hobbit, a wise wizard, or a graceful elf. But don’t worry if you don’t have a costume; your enthusiasm is all you need! You’re welcome to come alone, with friends, or with your whole fellowship. No partner or prior dance experience is necessary.
